End of Ramadan 2018, Eid ul-Fitr Day Celebration

Salaam Dosto, End of Ramadan: Inception of Ramadan will be from May 14, 2018 and will be ends on June 13, 2018. It is a one month duration occasion which is celebrated in all over the world. The ending of Ramadan is a national holiday called as Eid ul-Fitr. Here we are discussing about the importance and significance of Eid ul – Fitr.

Ramadan is the 9th month in the Islamic Calendar in which Muslim people fasts of food and drinking. They dedicated their whole month in the devotion of god Allah and call fasting as a one of the five pillars of Islam. All the Muslim people breaks the fast after the sunset and the last day of the Ramadan month is named as Eid Ul – Fitr in which all the Muslim meets at one place and celebrates this day.

Eid ul – Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslim in the whole world at the end Ramadan. On this day Muslim are not permitted to fast. This is the day of celebrating the successful Ramadan and thanksgiving to each other to spread the trend of love between the people. On this day all the Muslims comes together and say thanks and meets each other by hugging and smiling. It is a time to exchange gifts and cards and celebration the day with joy.

What is Eid ul-Fitr?

Eid or Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, which is a month of fasting that started on May 16 and is scheduled to end on the evening of June 15.

Eid kickstarts the month of Shawwal, which begins with a feast to end the period of fasting.

The celebration is a public holiday in many Muslim countries, but is not one in the UK, despite a campaign for it to be recognised back in 2014.

  • During Eid, Muslims will often purchase new clothes for the occasion, and take part in festivals and celebrations. 
  • Many will wake up early to pray at a mosque or outdoor prayer venue. 
  • Gifts and cards are often exchanged among friends and family.
  • Eid means "celebration" and Mubarak means "blessed", often Eid Mubarak is used as a greeting over this period.

All the Muslims read the Quran and worship the god Allah and then break their fast which they have from one month. There are several types of dishes & sweets cooked in this occasion and all the Muslim people have it by gathering in one place and spreading love by eating on a same plate. Muslims like to celebrate it also by visiting different places and homes of relatives, friends, family and closer. It also believes that the day is celebrates because the whole hopes of people comes true and the god Allah will be happy from his worshipers.

When Does Ramadan End?
